Barber Course Amount:

• $8300 Barber Program: 
• $1000 deposit

Those registering to start in October 2024 will receive the HBC Scholarship Program discount of $3000. To qualify for the scholarship recipients must maintain a GPA of an 80% to qualify, meet attendance requirements, and enroll in monthly auto draft payments. If payment arrangements need to be made or if students attendance drops or grade is below 80% the full cost of the scholarship $3000 will be added to the students total due.

Cross Over Course Amount: $3000

• Did you know that if you started school as a cosmetologist and find you don't like it you can switch to barber program and transfer up to 700 of your hours. 
• for those with their Cosmo license you simply need to do 300 course hours to qualify to test for dual license.

Barber College Class Schedules

HBC offers two classes to choose from. If you are not able to attend those hours as listed, we may be able to customize a schedule to suit your needs. 

• Tuesday - Friday 
• 10am-3pm & 4pm-8pm

Holiday Schedule: 

• March spring break 1 week off
• July summer break 2 weeks off 
• November thanksgiving 1 week off
• December Christmas 2 weeks off
• January New Years Break 1 week off

Course Length: 

• The program is 1000 hours. 
• 250 hours: Online theory class
• 750 hours: clocked in person at the campus.
• You can clock in up to 140 hours a month. 
• Max out hours and you can complete program in 7.5 months (not including holidays, your attendance, Staff development days, weather closures, these could delay your timeline)
• You have up to 12-15 months to complete the program, it's up to your availability that will determine how fast you can graduate.
